I just thought of something hilarious, next time someone asks me about playing, im going to make up a bunch of scales, because i have no idea what any of this stuff is.

um okkkk um and years ago, two parents went out for dinner. A few hours later, the babysitter was calling to ask if she could cover up the clown statue in the kids’ room, the father said,”Take the kids and get out of the house. We’ll call the police, we don’t have a clown statue.” The “clown statue” is really a killer that escaped from jail. If you don’t post this letter on to 10 videos tonight, the clown will be in your bed at 3:00 am with a chainsaw in his hand Sorry!

  8. sorafhorn Says:

  9. mattchurchill Says:

That is some fine Blues/Jazz playing! I wish I could play like that! What’s the guy’s full name? Does he have any recordings out there?

  10. madhatter996 Says:

dude that guy from trigger point or whatever when he hit the strings below the first fret t sounded insane I’ve never thought of doing that before that guy could go places

  11. Muaguana Says:

The trick works fine in blues music with all the parts laying down, but in metal you can still use the blues scale (1, 2, 3b, 3, 4, b5, 5, 7, 8) over the Minor, Phrygian or Locrian key of the song and it still sounds fine, with all the unique passing tones added in.

  12. punk4life333 Says:

wat r the Scale police going to come and arrest u if u play something diferent(but yeah its pretty sweet

  13. HarmonicMinorJ Says:

    I agree

it works ok for some passing tones, but not for laying on notes thats for sure

  14. Kaelan66 Says:

    What’s his full name???

  15. richgray5 Says:

really? I think if there was bass, and the rythym track was louder, moving up a whole step sounds out of tune. I adds a jazzy feel, i guess, but I dont think it sounded great. Thats no knock on his playing. I guess its a good trick bc its the same shape, and its easy.

I bought one at my local Guitar Center Dunlop makes one that comes on the standard winder crank and you can pull the tip off and it fits right in your drill they do rock and speed up the string change process.

  19. slashNpage77 Says:

wow, great lesson. i didn’t know you could do that with the blues scale. i’ve been looking for ways to add variety to my soloing w/ that scale and i think i just found the best one so far.

  20. 666micks666maggot666 Says:

Mike Bashers Fender is just like mine (cept mine has silver hardware, and mine has a black pearl pickguard, wish mine had black hardware.) Also theres an even easier way to change strings, BUY A GUITAR WITH LOCKING HEADS !!! So you just put the string in turn the back of the tuner head and then tune up, EASY !!!

  21. Grich26 Says:

  22. undeny Says:

  23. Grich26 Says:

  25. SirNoobs Says:
